What separates Pilates training from other fitness regimes? Pilates is a system of exercises designed to build and support the core in order to improve posture and strength, flexibility and the freedom of movement.
Sara-Lynn Weiler received her certification with the Second Wind Pilates studio under the tutelage of Danielle Belec and Mari Naumovski. Pilates training at Second Wind included a large component of Integrated Movement Therapy to balance out the hard core strength training of the Pilates method. The integrated movement therapy component incorporated Bartinieff Fundamentals and Laban movement analysis.
Whether you are an advanced student or a beginner, Pilates at The Guidonian Therapy Clinic brings a thoughtfulness to the dynamics and capabilities of the class and uses various modalities and tools to work towards a strong core and a healthier you.
